For 18 years straight EVERY student who has graduated from Capital Prep has been accepted to a 4 year college. We pride ourselves in being undefeated in this area. In the off-season our young men do community service and are part of the Kappa League Mentoring program. This is a 101 year old mentoring program that is the longest running of its kind designed to develop young men of color.
Leadership
Coach Damascus Lee has coached and mentored youth athletes for over 25 years. His love of the game is only topped by the love he has for his players. “Our culture is based based on trust. I trust my guys to chase their goals, and my guys and their families trust me to help them. We chase success as a family.”
Our league is comprised of schools from NY, CT, PA, DC, MD, VA. The competition level and exposure is unmatched. We are a year round training program. We give the scholar-athlete the opportunity to showcase their skills weekly and obtain exposure covering the entire eastern region. No other school in New York City or the surrounding area offers this opportunity.
